I owned a 1968 convertible (pictured at top of the page) which was undergoing a complete makeover. It is a 400 4bbl. with a 400 auto trans. This makeover has fallen prey to starting my own transmission shop which consumes most of my time and shop space. Hopefully this project will resume soon! (update: This car was sold in Sept 2003 without being restored :( ) I also own a 69 hardtop I bought as a one owner 350 2bbl 4peed that was laid to rest with only 69,000 miles on the clock. Unfortunately the resting place was just an abandoned spot in the yard, where time and weather left it's marks. After bringing it home and back to life, the less than impressive
performance was fixed by installing a 350 4bbl with 12+:1. With it's new powerplant I
found it to have more "Driving Excitement". (the '69 was
sold to help finance starting
